Judge Rosen Awards $95,000 Trip and Fall Award for Attorney Getson

Philadelphia and Allentown, Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Attorney Adam S. Getson of Wapner, Newman, Wigrizer, Brecher & Miller was able to obtain a verdict in the amount of $95,000 in a Cherry Hill, New Jersey trip and fall matter.

The plaintiff was caused to trip and fall due to an unsecured and unmarked electrical cord on the defendant's premises. As a result of the fall, the plaintiff sustained severe injuries, the most severe a medial meniscus tear of the left knee, which required multiple injections and surgical repair.

Attorney Getson successfully argued that the corporate defendant was negligent in maintaining their store by breaching their duty to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition for its contemplated use and the purpose for which the invitation was extended to the plaintiff and therefore should be responsible for the injuries sustained by the plaintiff.
