After spending several years serving at a Naval Air Station as an outpatient clinical Physician's Assistant Warrant Officer, he was admitted to medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences as a commissioned officer in an M.D. program. Discharged for physical reasons near the end of his third year of medical school, Mr. King went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University and joined Wapner, Newman shortly thereafter.
